Logical Conclusion (2018)

Logical Conclusion is a collection of logic puzzles based on algorithms that impact our society — from Trust Scores that the Chinese government will be issuing to its citizens, to the Facebook news feed algorithm. One of the puzzles is annotated so you can see how to complete them. I invited visitors to step into the Logic Lesson, where young computer programs come to complete their early logic training. Visitors can apply their human brains to the puzzles. Does the mathematical logic behind these puzzles, which mirrors the logic used by computers, lead to truly logical conclusions?

Logical Conclusion was my Master of Fine Arts Thesis exhibition and ran at Emmedia in Calgary from June 4-29. 2018.

It was accompanied by a workbook of puzzles, which you can view here
